MEANGREEN should be stored in a cool dry place. Since it is an organic it will grow mold if it becomes damp from heat or humidity. You can still use the fertilizer cakes as it WILL NOT hurt your trees.

MEANGREEN is specially formulated to provide consistent, organic feeding for your trees.  Use MEANGREEN fertilizers on all of your bonsai. In the spring, apply MEANGREEN Summer Formula.   You can use this organic food until fall and then apply MEANGREEN Autumn Formula.  You can also leave the MeanGreen Autumn Formula on your bonsai throughout the winter months. In late spring, clean the soil surface off, add new soil and apply MEANGREEN Summer Formula once again.

MEANGREEN may also be used in conjunction with inorganic fertilizers and in “super feed” (aggressive feeding) regimens. It is an excellent low nitrogen feed for hot summer months when high nitrogen feeds are discouraged. This easy-to-mix, easy-to-use fertilizer is used by several of the most respected names in bonsai today.  For your convenience, You can store any unused cakes in the re sealable moisture-resistant zip lock bag.

MEANGREEN can also be applied as a granular. Since our main goal in bonsai is to allow as much air circulation throughout the soil as possible, it is recommended, that if you do use it as a granular feed that you clean the soil surface several times a year. This will help to prevent any clogging which we know granular applications can create.

MEANGREEN is a complete organic food. There are twenty-two different organics that provide a well balanced food reservoir for your bonsai. It contains all 15 essential nutrients, secondary micronutrients and minerals. MEANGREEN will not burn so you do not need to worry about over fertilizing. It does not clog the soil or promote unwanted salt build-up.  It is also Urea free. 

Organic fertilizers not only provide a well balanced, low nitrogent food, but aids in tree repair. For wire scars or large cuts, you will notice that organics repair smoother and faster then with a high nitrogent feeder. No contorted leaves or surge growth has been noted with use.
